Things are looking good...

Today we heard from our social worker.  We were told about a month ago that the preschool orphanage where the children are living may close and the children relocated.  That meant that there was a possiblity that the children would be seperated which would have made adopting them more difficult.  We remained hopeful.  Well, today we heard that the orphange may not close after all.  She said it was looking good for us to adopt Kristina and Vlad.

Later today she sent us more pictures of Kristina.  These were a big surprise.  I don't think she would have sent them to us if she wasn't sure this was going to work out.

March 21 is the holiday Navruz. Navruz is the Persian New Year celebrated in countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.  Kristina is dressed up for the orphanage celebration of the new year.  It's quite the costume.  Says alot about her personality especially if she helped pick out her costume.  For those wondering, she is wearing a blonde wig.  I think her hair may be light brown based on previous pictures.

Enjoy!
